“I am a Big Fan of Virgil Van Dijk!” Says Retired Liverpool Star Daniel Agger

Who knew that retired Liverpool defender Daniel Agger would be a fan of the famous Dutch center-back player of the club- Virgil van Dijk? Daniel was recently found commenting that apart from all strength and skills that Virgil possesses, his leadership qualities stand out more important and admirable. Daniel said that keeping in mind Virgil’s play this season, his performance as a leader has been most appreciable. The review from Agger who retired three years ago is certainly valuable, as he is no less than a Liverpool legend from his time.

Daniel said that post-retirement, he always wished for the club to be succeeded by great players. He said that Liverpool needs to have players who are not just talented defenders and great footballers, but also great leaders on whom the club can rely upon. Only then, the legacy that the club deserves and needs will be passed on by the successors that are worthy of the club’s name. He said that Dijk has a remarkable character and that is very essential when one is a part of a team and it makes him admire the center-back player’s skills as a guide and leader, apart from his game.

LIVERPOOL LEGEND THANKS FANS AFTER RETURN

Liverpool recently played a friendly against the AC Milan legends in a repeat of the 2005 finals of the Champions League at Anfield as part of a charity match. The game ended 3-2 in favour of the Reds as Steven Gerard turn back the years to score a late winner for his team.

One player that Liverpool fans loved for his warrior mentality and effort during his time at the club was Daniel Agger. The 34-year-old played 242 games for the Reds and was widely applauded by the home support during the game.

Daniel Agger Has Now Revealed That The Challenge Of Alam Shah Of Singapore Was One Of “Career Changing”

Daniel Agger, the former defender of Liverpool disclosed that the challenge given to him from Noh Alam Shah of Singapore was the beginning of his injury problems that forced him to retire from the game of football and that so at the age of 31 years only.

Rafael Benitez easily took the team of Liverpool to the continent of Asia in the year 2009 in order to play against the team of Thailand and a Select XI of Singapore as part of their preparations of pre-season.

Daniel Agger, Expresses His Nostalgia For Anfield

Daniel Agger, the former center-back at Liverpool, has expressed his Nostalgia for Anfield. Retiring at a very young age has indeed left him with a great sense of loss. He misses the playground at Anfield, his team-mates for the ultimate match against the German giants, Bayern Munich. Now, that he is retired and resides in Spain, confesses in liverpoolfc.com that the hardest part of his ‘now’ is to reproducing football elsewhere.

All he can do is watch the guys play, who, he used to play with once. He hasn’t touched football in a while since the trip to Sydney that he had made the last year. Daniel Agger also added that it is more of the atmosphere and the environment and he wants to just be in the game and get the feeling that he is playing for some motive.

The former Danish defender Agger had to retire at the age of 31 due to an overload of anti-inflammatory drugs. The retirement of Daniel Agger is much like his career – blends of dirty works and artistry. After his early retirement in 2016, at the age of 31, the former Liverpool man decided to spend money on his passion and necessity: tattoos and poop.

The Danish defender trained to be a tattoo partner and now he is the part of the largest parlor around the world, called Tattoodo. But for Agger, it was not because he had more money to invest in s ***. Now 33, Agger launched a company called KloAgger in 2013, putting £ 450,000 into a company that manages sewage systems in Denmark.

Agger on Salah

Daniel Agger said that he is amazed at how good Mohamed Salah become and he is arguably one of the best strikers in the world at the moment. The former Liverpool defender said that he is a nightmare for all defenders and that he would not have liked to face him on a football pitch.

He said that the Egyptian international is quick on the ball and that he is always ready to strike and this makes it difficult to mark for any defender.
