Daniel Agger

I Love Daniel Agger

Brendan Rodgers worst Performance continues

Brendan Rodgers is having a squad crisis with Liverpool as the majority of his summer signings have failed to impress and now the manager from Northern Ireland has to find some way to recover from the disappointing season that he and his players have been going through.

The defensive department of Liverpool has been an area that has struggled and this is evidenced by the fact that the team of Brendan Rodgers has conceded 18 goals in the opening 12 Premier League matches of the season.

Daniel Agger left Liverpool a few months ago as the Danish defender joined his childhood club Brondby and Agger has been making a string of impressive performances with Brondby. This has started a debate as to whether or not releasing Agger was the correct decision.

It has been less than 5 months since Daniel Agger left Liverpool and returned to Brondby but the experienced defender has already stated that he misses the Premier League club as he wrote expressed his emotions about his former club through his twitter account.

Daniel Agger wrote on his twitter account: ‘’Thank you for all your positive tweets the last couple of months.I miss Liverpool too:)hope I will be back to watch a game this year!Y.N.W.A’’

The influence that Agger has made since returning to Brondby has been huge even though it’s only been a short period of time, his impact is undeniable and the manager of Brondby Thomas Frank, praised Daniel Agger.

“He is the most talented player in the league. He is a class centre-back. He leads with his aura which is now about the whole team. He positions himself correct and wisely and wins not least his own duels.”  Thomas Frank told reporters as he praised Daniel Agger and even said that the Danish defender is the most skilled player in the Danish Superliga.

Brendan Rodgers is not having the best of times with his signings and departures as he signed a number of players that have not helped out Liverpool in any significant and the Northern Ireland has sold players that manage to impress after leaving Anfield.
