I Love Daniel Agger

AGGER: TRY HARDER

Daniel Agger is quite dire to serve lead Liverpool out of the present slump as he told his team-mates that they need to turn this around. The Denmark player’s joy at making his return after 6 weeks out because of a cracked rib was treated by the disappointment of 1 – 1 draw against Aston Villa at their home ground on Saturday.

A late header by Luis Suarez helped to get a point to stop a run of three back-to back match loses but the 8th placed Liverpool now have just own only one out of their last 9 Premier League games. The Anfield outfit missed few gilt-edged scopes and had 3 penalty appeals rejected by the referee, but Daniel Agger accepted that the performance was not up to the mark. Agger told that it was very frustrating.

He added that they had a whole lot of chances, especially near the end of the game, but the thing is that they did not score. The reason may be the chances are not good enough or they did not get right chances. They have to give them credit for working hard.

He assumes that everything is going wrong at this point of time, they are not playing well and nothing is going towards the right direction. But the team is doing and trying all the things they can. They are training hard everyday and everything is expected to turn very soon.

Agger had only trained 2 times before this day, therefore he is hundred percent there. It is quite tough to sit on the sidelines. He wants to get in the field and help the team.
